School Organisation
Keeping children at a social distance from each other at all times is difficult within a school setting, especially for younger children. To minimise the risk of passing the virus between children the Government want us to create small groups of no more than 15 children, We are creating 7 bubbles, one for each classroom. Your child will be assigned to a bubble and will stay with the same children and adults throughout the week. This will stay in place until the Government say it is safe to return to normal classes. As our logo contains a rainbow and is a symbol of our present circumstances our bubbles will be rainbow colours. I will tell you which bubble your child has been assigned to the week before they are due to return.
Please click on the Bubble booklet, in the Information sent out by school section above, to access a booklet on what a Bubble is. This will support your child before returning to school.

Key Worker Childcare provision
Those children not in a class that is returning to school, but are receiving childcare in school, need to be booked in each week using the weekly booking forms. These children will mainly be placed in the Blue Bubble with Mrs Fowler and Mr Crocker. However, some children may be placed in one of the other bubbles if needed. Those in childcare will be mainly following the work that has been placed online by their teacher.
Sandhutton School Bus
Due to new measures needing to be applied to school transport, the Local Authority are asking that parents wanting their children to use the Sandhutton Bus service book in with them each week. All details of how t do this can be found at https://www.northyorks.gov.uk/schools-and-childrens-services-during-coronavirus-covid-19#transport
What will the school do if a child appears unwell?
