School Performance
The educational performance of the children at Carlton Miniott Primary Academy is continually measured throughout their time in school.
When your child enters school in Reception they will be assessed using the Foundation Stage Profile criteria which will lead directly on from the assessments made at your child's nursery. The progress of your child will be discussed with you at parents' evenings and in your child's end of year report.
During the rest of your child's time in school they will be measured against the National Curriculum requirements. At Year 2 and Year 6 your child will take part in National assesments. At year 6 these will be in the form of tests that are marked externally. The results of these assessments will be reported to you in your child's end of year report.

The performance of the school is measured using the results of these assessments and tests. These assessments focus on English and Maths performance and are only one part of the work the school does to educate your child.
