Monday 4th October saw the first match of our 2021 season. 5-4 Win.
Following the easing of lockdown restrictions, it was incredible to be hosted by Topcliffe Academy for a friendly football match. The players were an absolute credit to the school and both teams showed brilliant sportsmanship, respect and teamwork.
Topcliffe enjoyed the game so much that they have requested an 'away' game at Carlton Miniott later in the term. One player left the game saying 'This has been the best day ever...apart from when I got my pet cat' - What a brilliant quote to end the day!
