• Years 5/6 Tag Rugby
  Our Yrs 5/6 Tag Rugby team attended the local competition at Thirsk School against other primary schools. They played very well as a team scoring some excellent tries.
• Year 3 Visit to Richmond Castle - Oct '24
  Before the half term holiday, Class 3 launched their new history topic and visited Richmond and explored the ruins of the Norman Richmond Castle.
• Yrs 5/6 Football - Oct '24
  Our Yrs 5/6 Mixed Football Team travelled to Thirsk High School to play against other local primary schools. They had a mixture of results, mainly wins and draws, only losing one game, finishing in 5th place. Well done.
• Yrs 5/6 Girls Football - Oct '24
  Yrs 5/6 Girls Football Team played some impressive football against other local schools with an overall good team performance.
• Yrs 5/6 Girls Quicksticks - Oct '24
  Our team of Yrs 5/6 girls played 6 games of hockey against other local schools and narrowly missed out on a medal, finishing joint 3rd but losing on goal difference.
• Yrs 3/4 Quicksticks - Oct '24
  Our team played 8 games of hockey against other local schools on the astro pitch at Thirsk High School. They played well as a team and scored some brilliant goals, even though, for some, it was their first time playing.
• Class 3 Trip to North Yorkshire Moors Railway - Sept '24
  Class Three recently had an exciting visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The children were excellent  ambassadors for our school with lovely manners and fantastic behaviour. 
• KS1 Multiskills
  A team of 10 pupils from Years 1 and 2 enjoyed a sunny afternoon at Thirsk High School taking part in lots of Multiskills activities like throwing Frisbees, riding Space Hoppers, Hola Hooping and many more.
• Yarn Bombers Presentation
  Thirsk Yarnbombers came to school to present a net of knitted poppies.  These poppies were knitted by Year 10 pupils of Thirsk School and will be put on display in school during Remembrance Week.
• Class 2 Trip to Thirsk Races
  During our trip to Thirsk Racecourse, we had a lot of fun!  We met the horses and jockeys and learned a lot about horse racing.
