  • Year 3 Visit to Ryedale Folk Museum - March '24
    This week Class Three journeyed through time with a visit to the 'Stonehenge of the North' known as Thornborough Henges and also Ryedale Folk Museum. This trip helped us to see how life changed from the Stone Age to the Iron Age.
  • Year 1 visit to Monk Park Farm - March '24
    Year 1 had a great day at Monk Park Farm - they got very muddy, but loved every minute. They had a busy, enjoyable day, full of activities.
  • Yrs 5/6 Netball - March '24
    Our Yrs 5/6 Netball Team had a very successful afternoon of competition. They won 5 games out of 7 to come 2nd overall.
  • Class R Visit to Thorp Perrow - March '24
    Slightly too early for the daffodils but just right for a muddy walk through the trees. The children had a fantastic day.
  • World Book Day - March 2024
    Our World Book Day celebrations began with a visit from the published author, Miles Salter.  His work with the children inspired them to produce some fantastic writing. The children enjoyed dressing up in some wonderful costumes.
  • Year 4 Visit a Synagogue - Mar '24
    On Thursday 7th March Year 4 visited the Harrogate Hebrew Congregation as part of their RE learning for this half term. The children had a brilliant time and learnt a lot about the Jewish faith.
  • Key Steps Gymnastics - Mar '24
    Well done to our gymnastic superstars!  Six Class 2 children represented the school at the Key Steps Gymnastics competition.  They performed some beautiful floor routines and some fabulous dynamic vaults.  Well done to the team!
  • Yrs 5/6 Dodgeball Competition - Feb'24
    Some of our Yrs 5/6 children went to Thirsk High School yesterday afternoon to compete against other local schools. It was a very fast paced fun competition for them and they had a very enjoyable afternoon.
  • Young Voices Feb 2024
    After months of preparation and hard work, our 36 Young Voices Choir members travelled down to Sheffield Arena to sing with over 4000 other children. The children will agree that it was a long day, but really worth it! What an amazing day! 
  • Year 5 Trip to Allerton Waste Recovery Park - Feb'24
    Recently Year 5 visited Allerton Waste Recovery Park.  They had a tour of the factory and learnt all there was to know about recycling.
