Year 5 went on a trip to Leeds City Museum to finish their topic on the Anglo Saxons. They learnt a lot and had a great time.
Year 5 went on a trip to Leeds City Museum at the end of last half term to finish their topic on the Anglo Saxons.
They went on an artefact treasure hunt and examined some coins from the time and pieces of pottery. They also made some brooches. Later in the day, they investigated the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians and came face to face with an actual mummy, Nesyamun, who was five thousand years old!
They learnt a lot and had a great time. Thank you to the parents who helped us on the trip.
