Year 5 recently had a really musical day at Thirsk High School. Each child was given either a cornet, trumpet, trombone and one person even got to play the tuba! They were able to perform and watch brass musicians from other schools performing too.
Year 5 had a really musical day at Thirsk High School last Friday. After a music warm up, each child was given either a cornet,
trumpet, trombone and one person even got to play the tuba! They were taught some notes and played along with a range of
music. They took part in some Samba music too. They were able to perform to other people and watch brass musicians from
other schools performing too.
There is an opportunity to take up brass tuition, for those who were really inspired by their experience of the day.
