18 of our children, who’s parents are currently active and serving within the Armed Forces, joined another 1,000 school children at Catterick Garrison for Armed Forces Day. A fun day was had by all with lots of different activities to enjoy.
We had a fantastic trip out with the Armed Forces children at Catterick Garrison. All the children loved being a part of a wider community with over 1,000 children attending. They took part in lots of different activities from learning about weaponry, becoming medical staff and navigating a mine field. Highlight of their day was competing in the Tug-O-War against six other schools and winning overall. All finished off with a lovely ice-cream. We look forward to going again next year.
