Class Three recently had an exciting visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The children were excellent ambassadors for our school with lovely manners and fantastic behaviour.
Class Three recently had an exciting visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. We enjoyed a tour of Pickering Station with one of the guards and watched the steam trains come and go. We then travelled on one of the trains to Goathland and back. As we travelled we played ‘I Spy’ and took photos of the beautiful moorland scenery. The children were excellent ambassadors for our school with lovely manners and fantastic behaviour.
Next Friday we will be having a workshop with one of the NYMR teams and will be learning about how the railway and land use has changed over the years.
