On Tuesday Class One visited Preston Park. We got the chance to explore the old Victorian streets and look around the museum. The children were fascinated by the old sweet and toy shop and were lucky enough to speak to shop owners in the grocers, blacksmiths and the toy shop. We also looked around the museum and the children studied the artefacts in the
cabinets. We were also lucky enough to see an amazing Christmas tree display! In the afternoon the children enjoyed a play in the park and made their own toy in a workshop. They also got their hands on lots of old toys and tested to see how they worked!
The children had an amazing day and it was a lovely end to a fun topic of Toys!
