Before the Easter holidays Class Three went back in time almost 4500 years. They visited Thornborough Henge and learnt about why it would have been a significant site for the Stone Age people of Britain.
On the 21st of March, Class Three went back in time almost 4500 years. We visited Thornborough Henge and learnt about why it would have been a significant site for the Stone Age people of Britain. We were joined on our trip by a volunteer from English Heritage who kindly brought lots of artefacts for the children to see and answered questions about the site. The children
developed their historical enquiry skills and our visit further inspired their interest in the Stone Age.
