On 28th March, 32 Choir members set off to the Wensleydale Tournament of Music and Speech. They were apprehensive but took the competition in their stride and sang amazingly on the stage to a large audience. Their dedication and hard work paid off as they came first in the Choral Singing, winning the Dales Trophy. They also came first with their Sacred Hymn and Two-part Harmony. Three of the events’ scores were combined and we came joint first, sharing the Margery Burrill Challenge Cup.
How amazing to achieve this!

A huge well done to each member of the choir. They really have worked hard all term in preparation. The children were a credit to the school for the whole day and their amazing behaviour was commented on by members of the audience!
