Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside, especially as a class at East Barnby! Class 4 had a fantastic time canoeing, hunting for aliens and fossils, building wilderness camps, cooking marshmallows, climbing, and even skiing down a dry ski slope.
Oh, we do like to be beside the seaside! Especially all together as a class at East Barnby! Last week, Class 4 had a fantastic time canoeing down the River Esk, hunting for aliens on camp, fossil hunting on the shore, building wilderness camps, cooking our own marshmallows with our own fire, climbing, and even skiing down a dry ski slope.
Everyone worked on their emotional resilience and independence, relying on each other when, for some of us, it was our first time away from home. All staff present were so proud of them all for being so positive and brave while we were away. Great job year 4!
